ASTRO HEALTH

Passive sensing for health. One platform, two products.

Astro Health builds sensing technology that works with an ordinary toilet and reads what the body already reveals, with no test to perform and nothing to wear. One sensing platform carries two products: a clinical measurement programme in development with academic partners, and a consumer hydration product launching in 2027.

Urinfo®

Clinical measurement, in development

A small, portable sensor that works with an ordinary toilet, inside the home and beyond. Being developed with academic partners to record voided volume passively and continuously, across the period a bladder diary would normally cover, for the clinical questions that today rely on single clinic tests and self-reported diaries.

urinfo.health

Consumer hydration

Launching summer 2027

A hydration tracker for athletes and active people, built on the same sensing platform. It stays on the toilet at home and wakes by itself when someone comes to use it, with nothing to wear or remember. The brand is in final clearance and will be announced ahead of launch.

Astro Health was founded by Dr Tess Morris-Paterson, a chartered scientist and former Olympic and Paralympic head of performance whose work spans the Premier League, Formula One and spaceflight physiology research at NASA Ames. The company builds on a problem she kept meeting in elite sport: the measurements that matter most are the ones people will not reliably take themselves.

Astro Health works with clinical and academic partners, and speaks with investors ahead of its 2027 launch. Write to tess@astrohealth.uk.
